Oh, that makes more sense. Odd, though. Iâ€™d sure like the option to see total # of plays.

But look at it from their end: that 100 subscribers play it ALL THE TIME isn’t as important as 1000 people listening to it some.

Bo, go check it out: last.fm. You install a little plugin into iTunes or Windows Media Player and it will capture data on what you listen to and then does the whole social networking thing with it. Pretty cool.

OK, I have no idea how that last.fm Top 100 Chart for AO is calculated, because I, personally, have more plays (60) of House of Mirrors than last.fm has listed for AO in total. If that’s the Top 100 over the past year or something, then it should at least say so… and would help explain why the data seems skewed.

Yeah, but you aNy smething that they’ve heard, too. They may want a copy of a song they know. I know when I buy a CD at a show that I look for one with songs I know if I have choices. That may still extend into giveaways.
